There are considered the problems of ground data treatment for Synthetic Vision Systems in the article. Loading of initial
data, their converting in onboard structures and formats, and also verifi cation of the received data in 3D mode concern such
problems. Necessary onboard data for visualization in the Synthetic Vision System is matrix of district height, object structure,
aeronavigation information. Also initial data, such as digital vector maps of SXF format, the aeronavigation information in the
form of a text fi le of ARINC 424 format, the text description of object structure are investigated in the article. Structures, formats,
expansions of the initial and onboard information for correct functioning of a ground data treatment are presented. Besides,
the list of the necessary program modules of a ground data treatment, completely satisfying to complex tasks in view, has been
